Smugglers on the Straits March 21, 2009

The Detroit River has been a smuggler's paradise for centuries. Everything from furs to liquor have been the principle cargoes. This exhibit uses artifacts, photographs, archaeological finds, artwork, and vignettes to tell the stories of these controversial and illegal endeavors.
