SMFA Traveling Scholars May 4, 2009

Just extended until May 25!

On view the MFA's Foster Gallery "SMFA Traveling Scholars" showcases work by the seven recipients of the 2007 SMFA Traveling Scholarship Awards. Since 1899 the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, has annually awarded $80–100,000 to select alumni and students to aid in the development of their art work.

Featuring paintings, installation, film, video, drawing, and sculpture, the exhibition culminates nearly two years of travel and artistic exploration for these artists and presents a diverse group of individual dialogues that connect to each other in unexpected ways.

Exhibiting artists: Nicolas Brynolfson, Matthew Paul Cleary, Daniel Dueck, Daniel Johnson, Timothy Andrew Kadish, John Osorio-Buck, and Lauren Warner.
