Drawing on styles from the different regions of his home country, Habib creates a pan-Malian music that integrates rock and folk sounds of the West, without watering down his cherished roots. Habib descends from a line of Griots, traditional troubadours who provide wit, wisdom and entertainment and his charisma and magnetism translates across cultures on some of the world’s most prestigious concert stages. Last year's sold-out show had the crowd enraptured by the hypnotic sounds.

'His reputation as a guitar player has become almost mythical' - The New York Times
'The biggest pop star of the nation of Mali' - Rolling Stone
