332 Bloor St. W.
Toronto, Ontario

There is a superb group of 8 pocket naturalizations in the west portion of downtown Toronto, between Bloor Street West on the north and Richmond Street West on the south, Spadina Ave on the west and University Ave. on the east. This group includes 3 different approaches to naturalization on the campus of U of T, several differently managed community based naturalizations and several other institutional and private ones. There are some great opportunities to compare and contrast these with well designed more traditional landscapes. The general urban matrix in which these pocket naturalizations occur is also a superb mix of all things urban in terms of landuse and built form. There are lots of connections to look at and discuss...not to mention places to get a bite to eat and seek relief!
