The third annual Slow Food at Indie Grits is a showcase of the Midlands’ most sustainable chefs. Featuring tasting tables with the most conscientious chefs in Columbia, a Slow Food community potluck, soul DJs, and a cash bar featuring local beers, this food and drink fiesta is an official partner of the Nickelodeon Theatre's 7th annual Indie Grits Festival. The Sustainable Chefs Showcase features only chefs from restaurants that frequently buy, serve and promote food produced both locally AND sustainably. Each chef’s tasting item-- as well as each potluck dish -- must have something both local and sustainably produced as its main ingredient. For more information, contact [email protected].
