The Slo-Mo invented summer in Seattle after setting the water speed record on Lake Washington and winning the coveted Gold Cup in Detroit in 1950. Her "flying" three-point hull design is still used in modern hydroplanes. The Slo-Mo was painstakingly restored before returning to MOHAI in 2001.
