Hello Everybody!
Hope you can join me and my wondrous Band, Slim Forsythe & the Parklane Drifters (Scratchy Hutter, Big Rock and Candy Mountain), for the Carnegie Library's Sunday Afternoon Music Series this Sunday, October 12th, 2:00 to 3:00 PM, at the main library in Oakland. It's a great opportunity for many of our fans who can't make it out to see us late at night. And you can bring the whole family. They got a nice snack bar real close to where we'll be playin' so you can enjoy a coffee and treat while you enjoy great Classic Country Western music as well as some of my own compositions from our upcomin' record album.
Speakin' of that, here's more excitin' news...
Our brand new hit single, Steeltown Christmas, has just been released. We'll have 'em for sale at all our shows startin' with the Carnegie Library Sunday, October 12th. You may have already heard the song on the radio. It's a beauty! An original Slim Forsythe composition. And I'm so proud of those Parklane Drifters. They worked hard on it and they sound wonderful. I can't wait for you to hear this very special record (on the new-fangled, convenient compact disk format).
