This alt-country band formed in 1992 in Denver when Slim Cessna, former member of The Denver Gentlemen, banded together with his sidekick, Jay Munly (songwriter, vocalist and banjo player) and David Eugene Edwards and Jeffery-Paul. The group blends elements of country, blues, goth and gospel and Spin Magazine and No Depression have described them as "the Best Live Band in America."
