Sky View Center Celebrates Grand Opening of Hershey's Ice Cream with Free Ice Cream Giveaway July 2, 2011

Sky View Center, Flushing, Queen’s newest mall, is kicking off the Fourth of July weekend with a free ice cream giveaway at the grand opening of their newest retailer Hershey’s Ice Cream on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Sky View Center Level B.

To celebrate the store’s grand opening, Hershey’s Ice Cream will pass out one free scoop of ice cream to everyone who visits the store from 1PM to 4PM. Sky View Center shoppers are invited to stop by the store, located across from Chuck E. Cheese’s, to enjoy all of the delicious frozen treats Hershey’s Ice Cream has to offer. Balloons and free gifts will be available for children who attend the opening and a live band will be on site providing music for the festivities.

Hershey’s Ice Cream is the newest store to open at Sky View Center, Queen’s largest retail development. The ice cream shop will join Sky View’s many national and local retailers including Target, Marshalls, Old Navy, Bed Bath & Beyond and restaurants Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar and Chuck E. Cheese’s.
