Join us on an evening search for one of our most interesting birds — the American Woodcock. We’ll spend a brief time indoors learning about the woodcock’s unique adaptations for survival and its fantastic courtship flight. Then, just before sunset, we will head outside hoping to catch the male woodcock performing its evening “sky dance.” Please dress for the weather, keeping in mind that trails are often wet in spring.
