SKIP'S MUSEUM
Flemington, NJ & Doylestown, PA / Skip's Museum is a group of fun loving ragamuffins with a devil-may-care attitude and an arsenal of tasty tunes! The band formed after it's current members found themselves stuck together in one of the worst blizzards to ever hit the canadian heart-land: it started way back in 2007 when matt, pat and mike were out at their local library perusing the various texts and tomes when matt happened across what appeared to be a particularly old map. Closer inspection revealed that the fellas had found a treasure map that would led them to the legendary loot of the infamous Stillman "Handle-Bar" Archibold, the most dreaded mustachioed train robbery history had ever seen. So with map in hand they set off to claim the prize that waited for them. Halfway through kalamazoo they ran into a wayward hitchhiker who regaled them with tales of danger and adventure from one end of the globe to the other, he introduced himself as russ. Partly because his charm and wit, and partly because of his spelunking skills, the others asked him to join up and share in the riches. Onward they continued, northbound into canada. Halfway through Alberta is when the weather took a turn for the worse, and the group was forced to take refuge in an old abandoned range house. The canadian winter being what it is, they were stuck in the ramshackle building for months, surviving only on bison milk and canned peaches. With provisions running low and madness setting in the group made a pact: the first part being that above all they would not eat each other... secondly they made the solemn oath to be best friends forever, and thirdly, should they get out of this predicament, they would create a music hitherto unheard, a brand new high energy hybrid that infused rock and funk and jazz with anything that could make people move their feet. And so they set off to bed, fighting off frostbite and starvation. Waking the next morning they came across something they hadn't seen in ages, the sun! and tunneling their way out of the shack they found a herd of wild stallions awaiting them! And so the men rode the majestic beasts to freedom, leaving behind their search for untold riches and instead focusing all their energy on bringing new sounds to the world around them. EXCELSIOR!!!!!!! ..

THE EVERAFTER BAND
What do you get when you mix equal parts classic rock and emotionally charged folk-blues? EverAfter, a soulfully energized duo of talented musicians coming from two remarkably different points of departure, arriving at a common destination. The EverAfter band combines the sultry, richly textured voice of lead vocalist Lynn Phelps with the charismatic guitar playing of locally acclaimed rock-blues guitarist Warren Braverman. The diverse influences of these two commanding and prolific musicians converge to become a single palette of compelling depth and color for the band's folk-blues-rock cover and original repertoire.

Creative acoustic renditions of Led Zeppelin's "Thank You" and "Kashmir" along with Stevie Wonder's "Uptight" and "Superstition," and The Commodore's "Brick House" through the style of Joan Osborne spotlight Phelps and Braverman's experiential musicianship and passion for original interpretation. Their orchestration and arrangement of the old folk song "Trouble So Hard" by Vera Hall (Alan Lomex recordings) also show EverAfter's passion to continually re-invent songs of the past, leaving no stone unturned for a modern, fresh perspective.

The duo's collaborations are rife with new interpretations of classic hits as they meld folk, rock and blues into a new musical recipe ... for today and EverAfter.
