Nick Pullar introduces Skepticism and Skeptics in the Pub.

Nick Pullar ran Skeptics in the Pub in London for five years - and in all that time, he didn't drink a drop of beer, or consume any other alcoholic beverage - skeptical?

Nick says skepticism is a useful tool to have in our own mental toolbox to help deal with difficult subjects. Come along to see how skepticism can help understand UFOs, psychic healers and God.

About Skeptics in the Pub:

Skeptics in the Pub, Leicester (usually) meet at 7:30pm on the third Tuesday of every month in The Rutland & Derby Arms pub to discuss the paranormal, alternative medicine, psychic powers, pseudo-science, UFOs, alien abductions, creationism, religion and any other cultural beliefs.

A guest speaker is invited each month, to talk on a topic of interest. The talk is followed by an informal discussion in a relaxed and friendly pub atmosphere. A good selection of beers are available.

All are welcome.

Skeptics in the Pub was originally set up as a regular event in London by Scott Campbell. The Leicester event is run by Simon Perry.
