Children of All Ages Invited to Help LEGO® Master Builders at Three-day Building Event To Celebrate Grand Opening of Manhattan’s first LEGO Store

LEGO Master Builders will host a free, three-day collaborative build of a 16-foot tall by 12-foot wide BIG APPLE, made entirely of LEGO Bricks, to celebrate the grand opening of the LEGO Store at Rockefeller Center. New Yorkers and visitors of all ages are invited to participate in the construction of the iconic symbol for New York City on Tuesday, June 29 and Wednesday, June 30th from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Thursday, July 1st from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Rockefeller Center’s Channel Gardens, 5th Avenue between 49th and 50th Streets, Manhattan. Approximately 850,000 LEGO blocks are expected to be used in the construction.
