Milly's Tavern Hosts Animal Allies' 2nd Annual "Sips for Strays" Fundraiser

Animal Allies is holding its second annual beer tasting and silent auction fundraiser at Milly's Tavern, 500 N. Commercial St., Manchester, NH, on Thursday, April 21st, 2011, 6pm to 8pm courtesy of our very generous hosts Milly's Tavern.

The $20 admission ticket buys 10 of Milly's own brew samples; a one-of-a kind beer glass to the first 100 people; a silent auction; light appetizers; and a 50/50 raffle.

Silent auction items include:

- an ice hockey puck signed by Boston Bruins defenseman Andrew Ference

All of the event's proceeds will go toward Animal Allies spay/neuter and adoption programs for stray and feral cats.

For 17 years, Animal Allies has worked to reduce the suffering of animals in New Hampshire and beyond. Their primary goal is to eliminate the pet overpopulation crisis and reduce the shelter kill-rate to zero.

Animal Allies is a 501(c)3 charitable organization who depends on community participation at events like Sips for Strays to fund its humane efforts.
