We live in complex times. We are bombarded by more stimulation than ever before in the history of the world. The stimulation comes in the form of Internet, emails, computers, ever changing world of technologies, Web/enterprise/search/offshore… 1.0, 2.0 - X.0. For the most part when stimuli bombard us with the message is to respond, do, or take some action. The messages tell us that we would be happier and our lives would improve if we did something different. This is the reality of the world in which we live in the 21st Century, and it will only increase.
