Arrive 12:00pm meet at Security House in parking lot of the planetarium.
Check in (look for ME with the Clipboard) -Tickets/Bands will be distributed.
We then will walk to see the Marine Museum and the Hall of Fishes, model room (antique artifacts) and a 3000-year old mummy!
Then we will be given a personal guided tour of the mansion, which is dressed up for the holidays. Also see on display Vanderbilt's 1909 Reo Gentleman’s Roadster & 1928 Lincoln
ABOUT VANDERBILT
William Kissam Vanderbilt II. previously owned this estate during Long Island's Gold Coast Era. Built with a Spanish design it has 24 rooms which was built in three stages from 1910 until 1936. This 43-acre "Eagle's Nest mansion" was used as his summer home, and is now is the Suffolk County Vanderbilt museum and planetarium which was first opened in 1950. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places
