Celebrated sketch comedy group, FEARSOME (www.fearsomecomedy.com), is throwing a titillating singles soiree in an effort to raise funds to travel across country to partake in Portland?s "Best of the Best" Sketchfest.

The benefit, Sunday, August 14th, 8pm-11pm, at the West Bank Café [407 West 42nd Street, NYC], features a heart-stopping, body-rocking Hula-Hoop Burlesque performance by Miss Saturn (www.misssaturn.com); prizes and giveaways, like dinners for two, autographed books, audio equipment (how romantic!), and hair care product gift baskets; a Live Auction of FEARSOME members; and performances by FEARSOME, and the two other NY sketch groups going to Portland?the all-girl sketch sensation, MEAT, and the all-boy sketch legends, Elephant Larry. There will also be FEARSOME drink specials and an array of sexy snacks.
And although the benefit is tagged as a singles soiree, all are welcome. Couples are encouraged to bring a single friend to keep the spirit of the event alive. Tickets will be $15 at the door.

FEARSOME is an explosion of six TV-raised minds and five Bachelor?s Degrees. Together since 2002, FEARSOME has performed to sold out crowds from around the globe, but mostly from around New York City. Renowned for their fast-paced, continuous stream of comedy consciousness, FEARSOME creates shows that take their audience on an uproarious, action-packed and defiant journey into the ridiculous.
