SINGLES interactive Self Defense Seminar ages 48-59 April 5, 2009

TIME- 11am for Ages 48-59
Spring is here and everyone wants to get (or to stay) in great shape! Meet, exercise and interact with fitness minded singles attending this seminar while learning life saving Self Defense techniques. V-Force Scientific Concepts is about blending a defense concept so that everyone regardless of weight, height, age or handicap can use some sort of effective self defense. We will make it fun but keep a traditional disciplined student class. PARTNERS paired up to practice these concepts.
Subjects will be covered are:
-Myths of size and strength over speed
-Basic Effective Striking
-Being taken from behind suddenly
-Being taken from the front (Bear Hug Style)
-How to handle being choked
-Defense against slap/punch
-Defense from headlock in various positions
-Attitude in training and Aggression
-Closing the distance in a violent encounter
Break with refreshments will include enough time for mingling and getting to know one another.
All attending should be in comfortable clothing and sneakers, though any attire will do.
TIMES for Seminar:
11AM: Group C ages 48-58 + Group D- ages 59 & up
2PM: Group A -ages 23-35 + Group B- ages 36-47
