This week enjoy dinner at Toloache:

"Julian Medina’s “fantastic” Hell’s Kitchen yearling is turning “creative spins” on Nuevo Mexicana, creating “bold” flavors that “work well together” and are backed by a “vast” tequila selection; the service “needs work” and the “cute”, “small” quarters get “noisy”, but still – what a “Midtown find.”" - Zagat.com

"Serving haute Mexican smack in the center of the Theater District seems, at first, like a bad move. But chef Julian Medina seems to know what he’s doing. After all, Toloache is packed on a nightly basis with locals and tourists alike who nurse creatively concocted margaritas and dig into elevated Mex dishes like chicken enchiladas slathered in fig salsa and seven-chili-rubbed tuna covered in a tequila-chipotle glaze. Waiters push the guacamole, but there’s too much on the menu to let the guac fill you up. Foie gras tacos, for example, are nicely balanced and not overpowering. The super-tender pomegranate-and-tequila-braised beef ribs float temptingly in a celery root purée. The caramelized goat’s milk crêpe is the perfect way to top off a meal---with a shot of tequila, of course." - Gayot.com
