Explore different restaurants each month while getting to know other singles in the age group of your choice . . . so even if there's no love connection you'll still have a wonderful time. You'll order off the menu and receive separate checks for your purchases. Our website allows you to view the profiles of those registered for each dinner, tracks who you've dined with so you meet new people every time, and then let's you send a private message to those you've dined with afterward.

This week join us at Barrio.

"With its seductive ambience and innovative food, Barrio---which translates to "neighborhood" in English---is hardly a typical Mexican restaurant. Heavy metal chairs, concrete floors and the glow of more than 200 candles lining the walls create a warm urban atmosphere that's stylishly hip yet inviting. Owned by the folks behind the Purple Café & Wine Bars, Barrio serves upscale Mexican cuisine in dishes that mingle Northwest ingredients with familiar south-of-the-border favorites. We recommend the Dungeness crab cakes with fresh tomatillo sauce, duck confit tacos, and wild salman ceviche marinated in coconut milk with cucumber. Light and crispy masa cakes are a must-order, along with a shareable bowl of mussels steamed with dry-cured choriza and fiery habanero chile. Although small and pricey (about $4 each), the inventive tacos are a good reason to visit, especially for the roasted wild mushroom and the pork tenderloin taco with caramelized pineapple. Entrées include grilled rib-eye steak and spice-rubbed lamb chops. Save room for the light, crispy cinnamon churros served with a spicy chocolate sauce. Barrio’s well-trained waitstaff is upbeat, professional and ready to advise." - Zagat.com
