Therefore, it is even more urgent that each of us seek the welfare of our fellows, whether old or young-- because only in the presence of kindness and unity is such an awakening beneficial. May 27, 2008 To our Esteemed Donors and Sponsors: Faith for Generations Education Foundation is a non-profit 501-C-3 foundation. Our organization respectfully submits this request for your review. We look forward to your partnership in our cooperative efforts to rebuild Southern California and the entire nation, one person and one family at a time. Our mission is to boost the morale of single mothers and their children nationwide by creating new paths to reach higher goals. Our mission is to motivate, encourage, educate and provide opportunities for parents and their children, rebuilding their confidence to strive for a greater life. In doing this we will stop the degenerating mental effects and pressures of broken homes. Our goal is to open doors for families by creating opportunities in giving through, education, after school programs, scholarships, mentoring, finding homes, cars, mental and physical health counseling. This process will start the" pass it on" from hand to hand and spirit to spirit, giving back to future generations. Living every day with a purpose is what our mission statement declares. Our organization is committed in providing many different services and opportunities to those most in need within our communities. As such, we have sponsored the “Single Mothers Day Event 2008”, which will be held on Sunday October 5, 2008 at The L.A. Sports Arena. Doors open from 3pm to 8pm. There will be display booths available to our donors and sponsors on a first come first serve basis. FAITH FOR GENERATIONS EDUCATION FOUNDATION and THE NICK CANNON FOUNDATION, in partnership with Power House Cafe, State Wide Realty and Mortgage, and many other sponsors and supporters will be saluting single mother communities in every city. There will be free gifts given to mothers including: free cars, free gym memberships, free gift bags, shopping sprees, free food, free games and recreation for children, as a way to encourage them by giving them a hand-up and not a handout. This event will provide women and children an atmosphere of joy, peace, empowerment, and enlightenment, where the hearts and minds will open to realize the potential of life itself. These are some additional sponsors and programs: Yoga presented by Krishna Kaur showing techniques on the benefits of yoga and what it does for your body mind and soul, KFC, Radio Shack,Sunny Delight Inc, Edmundo Ayala Dentistry, Celebrity Beauty, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Hint Water, and many more to be announced. Celebrity guest include: Nick Cannon, Reuben Cannon, JAY from THAT'S SO RAVEN, Marcus Pratt, Vanessa Williams, KJLH RADIO and surprise guest.
