Singing For A Cure is an event planned by a Santa Monica High School club. It includes a dinner of tasty Indian food and a show focusing on Indian culture. It will feature various live talents from Los Angeles including: Dipali Singh, Jayshree Gohil, Jamil Assani, and Faizan Mehdi (son of Maestro Mehdi Hassan).
The show will also feature Bollywood dances, classical Indian dance, and bhangra. The entertainment is appropriate for all ages. All funds raised from the concert will be donated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, an organization that researches cures for Parkinson’s disease.
