Sinfonia Toronto will present a colourful and varied program in a Masterpiece Series concert on Friday, December 14 at 8 pm. The concert will take place under the baton of Nurhan Arman at Grace Church on-the-Hill (300 Lonsdale Road).

The concert titled ‘Intimate Voices’ will feature Sinfonia Toronto violinist Phoebe Tsang performing Haydn’s Violin Concerto in C and the world-premiere of Toronto composer Scott Good’s Anguished Grief’.
Violinist Phoebe Tsang is an active soloist and chamber musician. She is currently the co-Artistic Director and co-Founder of the Alicier Arts Chamber Music series. In recent years she has been soloist with Sinfonia Toronto, the Toronto Philharmonia, the Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Orchestra, the Chinese Overseas Philharmonic and the Esprit Orchestra.
The concert will also feature orchestral selections from Handel’s Messiah, as well as one of Sibelius’ most romantic works Voces intimae op. 56.
There will be a free post-concert reception, giving audience members a chance to meet the orchestra members, conductor and soloist.
