Both icon and iconoclast, Sinead O'Connor has been making music, rejecting stereotypes and defying expectations for more than a quarter century. Working with a wide range of musicians and producers including Prince, Wyclef Jean, Brian Eno and Sly & Robbie, she has created music drawing on everything from traditional Irish folk to reggae. Her new album, Theology, includes Dublin Sessions, a disc of acoustic songs, and London Sessions, a disc recorded with a full backing band. She returns to Southbank Centre following her appearance at Patti Smith's Meltdown in 2005.
