Mark your calendars for October 15-17, 2009. This is surely an event you won't want to miss. The underlying theme of this year'sSimply Inspired Event is "inspiration". I just love to be inspired and I've sure you do too. My desire is that you will come away from this event inspired about scrapbooking but also simply inspired in every aspect of your life. In addition to the inspiration you'll be taking away, you'll also be making someamazing projects.We have an absolutely awesome group of teachers already lined up for the event.I'm so excited to announcethat the line up includes Teresa Collins from Teresa Collins Designs, Margie Romney-Aslett from Making Memories, Jenni Bowlin from Jenni Bowlan Studio and Layle Koncar from Scenic Route.Are you starting to get excited? We also have two extremely talented local designers and members of the Simply Scrappin' Creative Team, Teri Davis and Christina Bonner who will also we teaching at the event.

The Workshops
We are very excited to offer you 8completely diverse and dynamicworkshops. Every attendee will be able to take every workshop and receive the exact same experience. These Workshops will consist of lectures, altered projects, mini-albums, layouts and more. You will leave with tons of inspiration, a wide variety of projects that will inspire your whole life, plus plenty of free product and goodies. Did I mention there's a crop? That's right! You'll have overnight access to one of our classrooms both Friday and Saturdayso that you may crop the night away, if you choose.

Event Cost

The Event fee is $375.00, which includes all 8 workshops, all activities during the event, lunch on both Friday and Saturday, and dinner Saturday night. Resort room rates are not included in the price of the event. We will be offering an Early Bird Special exclusively for 2009 Creative Studio Members. (To find out more about becoming a member click here.) Registration will begin on January 10 immediately following our 1st Birthday Bash. All Creative Studio Members will be able to register a full 48 hours before the general public and will receive a discounted rate of $320.00, a coupon book full of great savings to be used at the onsite store during the event, and a Simply Inspired tote bag.

Registration
Early Bird registration begins Saturday, January 10 at 5pm CST. The Early Bird Special will be available for the first 48 hours only. Again the Early Bird Rate is $320 plus you will receive a coupon book full of great savings to be used at the onsite store during the event, and a Simply Inspired tote bag. You must be a 2009 Creative Studio Member to take advantage of the Early Bird Special. (To find out more about becoming a member click here.) On Monday, January 12 at 5pm CST, registration opens to the general public for $375. Registration will be online and once you have registered you will receive an on-screen confirmation along with two confirmation emails, one from the event registration site containing event details and receipt and one from PayPal confirming that the payment went through.

Hotel Accommodations
The event will be held at the Hilton Tower here in Lafayette, LA just minutes away from Simply Scrappin' in River Ranch. Travel Info

Lafayette Regional Airport (LFT) is only a few miles away from the event location.
Driving Directions from Lafayette Regional AirportTurn left onto Surrey Street. Travel 2 miles to Pinhook Road. Turn left on Pinhook. The hotel is located approximately 1 1/2 miles on the left side.
You may also choose to fly into Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR) approximately 65 miles from the event. Driving Directions from Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport
Follow signs for I-110 South from the airport. Travel 6 miles and merge onto exit I-10 West; after about 60 miles, Exit 103-A onto Hwy 90 (I-49). Go 3 1/2 miles south and turn right onto Pinhook Road. Hotel is 1 1/2 miles on the left.

Airport Shuttle
The Hilton Tower offers complimentary daily shuttle service round trip from Lafayette Regional Airport to the Hilton Tower.
