Simple Measures - "With Strings Attached" October 3, 2008

In the spirit of this election season; we play, you vote. We’ll talk politics and its historical influence on composition; then we’ll play pairs of pieces and you vote to decide the final piece. Selections include Beethoven’s string quartet movement titled The Difficult Decision, and a piano quintet from the politically-charged composer Shostakovich.
