Simple Gifts and Ornaments for Children to Make December 11, 2010

For children in grades 1 - 5.
Just like grown-ups, every child wants to give their loved ones something special over the holidays. But we all know no gift is as good as one that is MADE with love.

Drop off the kids at Blithewold for a Saturday morning of felt, papier mache, and fun (this is a great time for holiday shopping, parents!) Local artist Joanne Murrman will show children how to make items such as pencil and glasses' cases, key chains, papier mache jewelry, decorative mirrors, flip books, ornaments and more.
