Simple Beginnings: The Story of Evolution exhibition at Bolton Museum, Aquarium and Archive June 13, 2009

A major exhibition exploring the fascinating journey of evolution. The exhibition will be opened on Saturday 13 June at Bolton Museum by local TV and radio personality Johnny Ball, who in 1970s and 80s presented a series of popular science and technology programmes for children. The exhibition will include sections on Charles Darwin as an individual; evolution in the 19th century; observing evolution in the natural world; and the power of genes. Entrance to the exhibition is free and there will be a wide range of exhibition related events and activities.
