The eclectic Milanese pianist, Simona Premazzi, will be bringing her fervently groovy sound to Greenwich Village's newest jazz venue, Cachaca href. Backing her original compositions and revitalized standards are a hot-blooded trio of New York's most accomplished young players, The Intruders: Stacy Dillard (Sax), Ryan Berg (Bass), and Rodney Green (Drums).

With her Italian training and diverse cultural influences, Milanese sensation Simona Premazzi is a striking presence on the New York City jazz scene. Since the release of her critically acclaimed first album, Looking for an Exit (2006), her strong, groovy and exciting sound has been catching ears and turning heads in some of the best jazz venues in the city, including recent performances at Smalls, Sweet Rhythm, Nordest Cafe, and Dizzy's Coca-Cola Lounge at Lincoln Center Jazz.

Her band, The Intruders, is a a mesmerizing trio of spirited, accomplished performers: Ryan Berg (Bass), Stacy Dillard (Sax), Rodney Green (Drums).
