Join Silverton at dark for the largest fireworks display on the western slope. The Silverton San Juan Volunteer Fire department will launch 16" shells along with the usual spectacular display. These additions will light up the San Juan sky 1600 ft high by 1600 ft. wide. For those of you who witnessed last years display, this one is not to be missed!!!! The fireworks will be displayed above Shrine Hill and will be readily visible from most places in town. The Shrine Road will be closed to spectators. Please support our local volunteer fire department- Firemen and ladies auxiliary are accepting donations for the fireworks. Donation booths are in various locations in town.
