Along with the weather, the Atomic In-Store Season is starting to warm up! Catch a special, full-band, semi-acoustic Silversun Pickups in-store performance here at Atomic on Thursday, April 5 at 5:30PM. They will be opening for Snow Patrol later that evening at The Eagles Ballroom.

“This LA group takes the forlorn moods, sing-a-long choruses and stretched-out codas of current West Coast Indie pop (Earlimart, Rogue Wave) and takes them on a starship space ride, like the exploratory spoiled sons of Billy Corgan and that gal from The Dandy Warhols. The meager synth hints swim under the overarching fuzz of the guitars, to say nothing (well, something) of the sexy dual grit-croons of Brian Aubert and Nikki Monninger. Their current album Carnavas is the sound of growing up in a land where Halloween night is 70-degrees and the candy bag dumping commences only after a long night spent smashing pumpkins.” -- CMJ
