Silicon Valley Rocks! will be the first music showcase featuring performances from Silicon Valley’s tech community - from VCs and entrepreneurs to bloggers and software developers - to raise money for Music in Schools Today (MuST), a Bay Area non-profit that seeks to rescue school music programs from budget cuts.

WHY: All proceeds for Silicon Valley Rocks! will be donated to Music in Schools Today (MuST) (http://www.mustcreate.org/index.shtml) to support music education in the schools.
TICKETS: Event tickets include entry to the showcase and the after-party featuring the best networking, drinks, and dancing north of San Jose. Ticket purchases are tax deductible. Ticket prices start at $35 and increase as the event approaches. Tickets can be purchased at http://svrocks.eventbrite.com.
OPEN CALL FOR BANDS: Silicon Valley Rocks! is also announcing an open call for bands interested in a chance to perform at Silicon Valley Rocks!. Each band must have at least 1 Silicon Valley tech professional playing. There are 5 open spots, and submissions will close in mid-October.
