The next Geek Dinner will be at Gordon Biersch in Palo Alto.

For this dinner, Karen Ziv, a Senior Developer in Palo Alto, will be starting off the conversation with a quick overview of making your site scalable (non-language specific), just general techniques (e.g. caching, query optimization), when to build it in and when not to bother, etc. Don't miss it!

Food, beer, and geeks! Woohoo! :)

Funny, nobody ever reads the Facebook event listing fully. I had the same problem with Bay Area Girl Geek Dinner #1 -- and received millions of outraged emails from people who don't read. Humph.

Can I be added to the waitlist please?

Any openings come up Stephanie? Thanks

@archana_poddar and @ericgonzalez: Currently, the guestlist is full, but check back in a few days. If you can't go to this one, I would love to see you at a future dinner. I've noticed your names on the geek dinner invites before and would like to meet you.

Strimble, Thanks for your reply! This one's full so I hope to meet you at future events! Enjoy!

This is my first time coming. Any hints on finding the group in the bar?

"Look for the group of geeks" is probably not specific enough, given the location ;)

@dh fhf org I didn't see your comment until now. Sorry.

@allwhoattended Thank you for coming out for another great Silicon Valley Geek Dinner. Karen, you did a great job with the talk. And Matt and Esmeralda, thank you for coming all the way from San Francisco. See you at the next dinner. :)
