Silent Rave 4 Obama October 2, 2008

Silent Rave Definition (Wikipedia): The concept of a silent party or silent disco involves party-goers dancing to music received directly into headphones. It involves the gathering of a group of people in an unconventional location to dance to music which they provide themselves via an MP3/Ipod player and conventional wired headphones. So, I heard this concept about a silent rave on NPR and thought it was pretty cool. Although it's usually completely random - wouldn't it be cool to get one together around a cause - like for Barack Obama - Right here in the important swing state of Ohio!! What a great way to get people registered to vote last-minute and also just randomly dance like crazy at the sound of a whistle! Hopefully this picks up steam and energy because I don't want to do it if less than like 200 people show up. I want a big, random showing for OBAMA on the Square and all around town (I encourage spin-offs in different suburbs/communities at the same exact time) ... Dance to whoever gets you movin' and at the sound of the horn at 5:30 p.m. on the dot ... Let's get energized! YES WE CAN! OBAMA 08!
