Silence presents Fumiya Tanaka & Sonja Moonear April 20, 2012

Hi everybody,

We are back with another Silence full of beautiful music. This time with artists you haven’t had the chance to see in London for a while.

For the first time, we will welcome Japanese minimal techno legend Fumiya Tanaka whose music is respected by DJs and electronic music enthusiasts all around the world. Fumiya regularly performs with artists such as Ricardo Villalobos, Zip, Thomas Melchior, Romanian A:RPIA:R crew and many others as well as owning several record labels such as his newest Sundance or older Op.Disc and Torema Records. His latest cooperation with Thomas Melchior (Tofu Productions) resulted in releasing Trabalhador EP on Sundance. His track Sorry Cucumber appeared on Perlon’s Superlongevityfive compilation and last December he followed on with I Can Tell You Of Course I Know It Was EP also for Perlon. Our Silence will be one special opportunity to catch this amazing artist in London.

Our second headliner is a lady from Switzerland and she is another unique artist who managed to avoid London for quite a while. Her name is Sonja Moonear and her music was released on labels such as Karat, Kalk Pets, Lessizmore, Ruta5, Perlon and many others. She regularly performs as a DJ or a live act (Junction SM) in clubs and festivals all over the world. Sonja is also working as a sound designer for the swiss-french TV-TSR. We will have Sonja playing at our party for the first time too, so don’t miss it.

The initial part of the night will belong, asusual, to our resident Silent Collective. This time with Brano and Juraj taking care of the warm up.

Dear friends, this is the last party we are going to do before our next upgrade. It would be very nice to see you all again downstairs at The CAMP. We’ll be there till very late as usual. ;)
