Signs of the Times July 30, 2009

This exhibit presents an encompassing story about oil companies which speaks of persistence and perseverance, of trademarks and brand names, and of art and business. While some companies have maintained a singular, linear existence, others have come full circle to their beginnings. Using metal signs, photographs and other oil and gas related objects mostly from The Petroleum Museum's collection, 'Signs of the Times' provides a retrospective look at the changes oil and gas companies have endured the last 150 years.
