Trinitas and Zorba the Buddha presents, - Sidewalks - Art Fotografie Show. Featuring works of Laurent Goldstein, Sanjay Nanda, Udit Kulshrestha & Prashant Bharadwaj.

Laurent Goldstein was trained to be an architect, but then he became a designer and art manager of several high fashion companies in Paris, London and Milan, before settling in India in order to launch an household linen label. Along the Ganges relationships with people are different and Laurent carries on this human adventure through photography, which allows him to extend his glance to the world and to show many aspects of the Indian society sometimes deeply devoted to its traditions or on the contrary forward-looking. Benares, the oldest living city in the world, became one of his favourite topic, and after adding a specific treatment his images seem timeless and in a kind of biblical set which can sometimes remind the world of Bosch, he is introducing people who are often soaked in a state of grace.

Sanjay Nanda, a graphic designer by profession, passionately in love with photography whose experiences as a visual designer helps him see beauty in mundane things. His images use the interplay of light, textures, and colours to create unusual and complex forms that seduce the viewer with the ability to extract the beauty out of ordinary surroundings and convert them into visually appealing images and at the same time using concepts and techniques that are grounded in the domain of fine art. A photographic process that involves a persistent scouring of the urban landscape for: the uniquely unseen; compelling moments of light, texture and form; and, often times, decaying elements in the constructed environment. His works are attempts to extract and synthesize the less seen, yet strangely elegant, fragments of the urban landscape in order to reconstruct an urban aesthetic. Monuments and the processes of time being made visible as beautiful sources, resonating with strong form and textural interest. These select works of his collection are part of various private collections. http://indipix.carbonmade.com/

Udit Kulshrestha, a marketeer for the first 7 years of his career and an Army Officers' Child; who has traveled every 2-3 years through the length and breadth of the country; laid the foundations of his questioning value systems and multilayered cultural understanding. With his parental lineage into the performing and visual arts, (his grandfather having taught the Great Ghazal Maestro Jagjit Singh) he succumbed to the genetic coding as a visual artist in 2007, choosing photography as the medium for his expressive perspectives. An artiste into the mainline stream of Advertising and editorial photography, in the domains of People, Still Life and Abstractal forms, apart from being a visual illusionist with an profound understanding of Colour, Aesthetics, Design and Visual Arts.
