Los Angeles, California (October 11, 2011) - Joe Sib and Skyler Stone have teamed up to put together a night of comedy that rocks. On October 25th 2011 at 10pm, Sib & Stone will take over The Improv in Hollywood, CA. The show will be hosted by its namesakes; and feature a live interview and comedic story-telling session with Andy Summers, guitarist of The Police. This event was originally scheduled to take place in July, but was rescheduled due to Andy Summers’ leg injury. Comedians Owen Benjamin (House Bunny, Tonight Show), Finesse Mitchell (Saturday Night Live alumnus, Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time), Lahna Turner, and Deano Jones will also perform. All proceeds from the show will go to the charity of Andy Summers’ choice.

Sib & Stone’s show is a unique fusion of comedy and music that will undoubtedly provide a night of fun and laughs… all for a great cause. This will be the sophomore show for the duo after a sold out evening with Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age) at The Improv in September, where they raised money for Sweet Relief, a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to career musicians who are struggling to make ends meet. Sib & Stone want to offer people an experience that they’ve never been a part of before, by seamlessly combining comedy with some of music’s most respected performers.

Andy Summers, who truly needs no introduction, is the English-born guitarist for the legendary rock band The Police. Aside from his success with The Police, Andy Summers has also recorded and toured extensively as a solo act, published several books, and has composed multiple film scores.

Joe Sib is a modern day Renaissance man. He is co-founder of the independent record label SideOneDummy Records, host of “Complete Control Radio”, LA’s famed and only dedicated punk rock radio show on 98.7FM, and entertainer, who performs his one man show, “California Calling”, all over the country.

Skyler Stone is an actor and comedian, known for his regular appearances at LA comedy clubs The Laugh Factory, The Improv, and The Comedy Store. Skyler is currently on FOX’s “Raising Hope” as Cousin Mike and has been on “The Mentalist”, “Rules Of Engagement”, “CSI:NY”, “Dollhouse”, “Dark Blue” and the last season of “Lost”. He is the lead in Sony’s next installment of the hit horror franchise “Hostel Part 3”.

Owen Benjamin appeared in the film “The House Bunny”. He is a regular correspondent on The Tonight Show and frequently appears on “Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time”. Finesse Mitchell is a fellow “Pretend Time” actor and Saturday Night Live alumnus.

The Improv is located at 8162 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90046.
