SHRINE OF ST. JOSEPH TO HOST 19TH ANNUAL COUNTRY FUN FESTIVAL

Stirling, NJ -- Pumpkins are being collected, flea market items are getting tagged, and special orange shirts are appearing around town – all in anticipation of the Shrine of St. Joseph’s 19th Annual Country Fun Festival to be held on the Shrine grounds on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
On that day visitors from all over the tri-state area will arrive at 1050 Long Hill Road to partake in a wide variety of homespun activities. The all-day Country Fun Festival will offer games, scarecrows for stuffing, a toddler hay maze, piñata fun, and many creative activities such as pumpkin decorating, face painting, scarecrow making, and spin art. All ages are welcome to walk or dance around the cakewalk to win a home-baked cake or stuffed animal. For bargain hunters there will be a Quonset Hut filled to the rafters with Flea Market “treasures” opening at 9:30 a.m. Auctioneer, Rod Donovan will be awaiting your bid at 1:00 p.m. in the Shrine Auditorium.
