The Showcase of Art in New Carrollton is your opportunity to show your art to the public. The Showcase of Art has been a City tradition for many years, attracting passionate artists and art lovers from all over the area.

Enter your own masterpiece to be displayed and judged. Ribbons will be awarded for the winners of various age brackets and categories:

Age Categories include:

-Elementary
-Middle School
-High School
-Adult

Entry categories include:

-Drawing (Pen, Pencil, or Combination)
-Oil or Acrylic Paint, Watercolors
-Pastels, Charcoal or Crayon
-Cartoons
-Photography

Interested artists can enter their work by obtaining a regsitration form by contacting City Hall at (301) 459-6100 or visiting the website at www.new-carrollton.md.us

Registration forms can be submitted in person, by fax at (301) 458-8172 or by mail. Registration forms must be received by 4 pm on Friday, May 9, 2008.
