Short and Sweet III: Short films from Germany - Screening. In collaboration with UTV World Movies. The Goethe Institut Mumbai and UTV World Movies have joined hands to present Short and Sweet III, a programme of the most outstanding and innovative short films to emerge form Germany in the past decade. 100 years ago, all the films were short. Internationally, German short films have occupied a leading position for many years. In the sixties, young talents like Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Werner Herzog and Wim Wenders were making their (soon to be famous) names presenting short film works to the public. The multi award winning directors of this third Short and Sweet selection look set to follow in their illustrious footsteps. This series consists of a cross-section of the most outstanding and innovative short films from Germany in recent years. Short and Sweet III consists of award-winning films divided into four thematic sections: Dream and Nightmare (Traum und Alptraum), Here and there (Hier und dort), This Side and That Side (Diesseits und Jenseits) & He and She (Er und sie).
