Shoot Brixton Photography Treasure Hunt at Plan B April 27, 2009

Shoot Brixton is an interactive photography treasure hunt which provides an imaginative way to explore this diverse area of London. Participants sign-up to the event in teams of two to four and start the day with a briefing held at Plan B. The teams are then tasked with deciphering clues that will lead them to different destinations around Brixton. Once they’ve deciphered the clues, teams take the most creative photos they can to portray the answers.

They then return to Plan B at the end of the day to submit their photographs and relax as all photos are shown in a big screen slide show and the judging of entries takes place. The day finishes in an awards ceremony honouring all the winning teams.

A total of eight clues will be given on the day. Of these eight, some will lead participants to actual destinations and some are more open, designed to encourage creative interpretation.
Shoot Brixton is an event for anyone with a sense of creative adventure, and a thirst for a different way to spend their Saturday.

After the event, there will be an exhibition of selected photos from the day held at Photofusion Gallery, http://www.photofusion.org/index.htm, from June 30th to July 5th.
