Shoeshine Blue is a gumbo of folk, blues, lo-fi, and books. What began as Michael Apinyakul writing and playing all instruments, has now expanded to Shawn Mclain on violin, vocals, and drums, and William Joersz on upright bass. This is the dark, folky blues of a modern world, which is perhaps what the modern world needs.
