Merkin Concert Hall continues the celebration of Israel's 60th birthday with a concert spotlighting the long history of cantorial music, which has produced some of the greatest singers the world has ever known. 'Shir Artistry: The Many Faces of the Modern Cantor' features four of the best cantors from New York's dynamic, diverse Jewish community--host Richard Botton along with David Lefkowitz, Mo Glazman and Jill Abramson--who will show that the tradition continues to this very day.
