Shiny Stockings: Frank Foster Tribute March 27, 2011

The Central Virginia Jazz Orchestra (CVJO) presents a concert honoring former Count Basie band member and leader Frank Foster. Proceeds from this concert will support Dr. Foster and Brian Grady’s film “Shiny Stockings,” the documentary film of Dr. Foster’s life and career. The CVJO will perform several of Dr. Foster’s compositions and arrangements. Come and hear this wonderful music!
