Sherway Gardens Annual Hometown Fair October 18, 2006

Hundreds of handmade items including woodwork, baby blankets, quilts, ornaments, toys, preserves and baked goods will be featured during sherway gardens annual hometown fair, running thursday october 19 and friday october 20 from 10am – 9pm and saturday october 21 from 9:30am – 6pm. call (416) 621-1070 for more information or visit www.sherwaygardens.ca. this year more than 30 community groups will participate in hometown fair. some of these groups include the thistletown woodchucks, franklin horner community centre, wesley mimico united church, st. paul the apostle craft club, kipling acres volunteers and women of runnymede presbyterian church. proceeds from sherway gardens annual hometown fair are redirected back into the community to support local church and seniors groups, community centres, and other non-profit organizations. sherway gardens is committed to taking into account the needs that impact the community, and is dedicated to working with many community-based organizations throughout the year to assist with fundraising initiatives. sherway gardens believes that giving grows.
