This special class and tasting will provide you with an extensive background on Sherry (or Xeres or Jeres), the famed fortified wine from south Spain. Discover how these wines can be made from dry to sweet through added alcohol and slow oxygenation thanks to the Solera system. We will also discuss the two main families of Sherries: fino-type and oloroso-type and you will discover that there is much more diversity in Sherries than you may think.

You will taste 6 different types of Sherries finish the bottles with a plate of Spanish-inspired appetizers. Class taught by Ellen Kirsh Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) and Master Sommelier (IAWS)
