Talented beyond her years, Shemekia Copeland is a blues vocalist of extreme passion. Daughter of the late Johnny Clyde Copeland, she infuses her singing with the Texas blues influence of her father along with influences of her own upbringing in Harlem. Although featuring Devon Allman as the front man (yes, from that Allman family), this band is an ensemble cast all the way. Allman has surrounded himself with the A-list of musicians from mid-west America.
