Sheffield's Ugly Sweater Contest Coat and Can Drive December 13, 2009

As the holidays approach, so do the ugly sweaters. This season, Sheffield’s and Magic Hat Brewing are taking the ugly sweater theme to the next level by holding a one of a kind ugly sweater contest, all for a great cause. Sheffield’s is encouraging Chicagoans to help the less fortunate this holiday season, all while having fun and enjoying the sights of the holidays. Guests can come and watch the Bears vs. Packers game while sipping on $4 pints of Magic Hat. Of course, don’t forget the most important part, patrons donning unsightly sweaters are asked to bring unwanted winter coats and/or canned foods to benefit a local Lakeview shelter. Those who show off the most hideous ensembles will have the opportunity to win some spectacular prizes, as Sheffield’s is giving away Cubs tickets and memorabilia, Sheffield’s gift cards, Magic Hat swag and tickets to see The Black Keys on New Year’s Eve.
