Watch the Parade and Veterans Badge Presentation Ceremony – from midday Millennium Square, Town Hall Square, Peace Gardens

Show your support for our Sheffield Veterans and Armed military organisations as they parade from Millennium Square, along Surrey Street, past the Town Hall to the Peace Gardens. The Lord Mayor will then lead a ceremony to thank those involved and present Veterans Badges to mark the occasion.

Visit the Exhibition – 11am – 4pm
Winter Garden
Join Sheffield Veterans, local armed forces, cadet groups and Veterans support organisations at an Armed Forces and Veterans Day themed exhibition of information stands, images and memorabilia.

Enjoy the wartime music and dance 1pm-3.30pm Peace Gardens Dance up a storm to wartime music from the 1940s and 50s in the Peace Gardens. Brush up on your Waltz. Jive with our demos or show them how it’s done!

Find out more about cadets and armed forces Fargate Take the opportunity to meet representatives of local military organisations. Talk to cadets, members of the armed forces, Yorkshire regiments, Territorial Army and find out more about what they do and how to get involved.

Join us in Barkers Pool to see our armed forces and reserve services in action. Sheffield’s Territorial Area personnel will show off their skills through a series of displays and demonstrations.
